Some gigs feel like home the moment you step up to the mic. Voicing a piece for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown was one of those.

This project tells a big, beautifully American story—how baseball weaves through our history, our neighborhoods, and our families, while also shining a well-deserved spotlight on the Black Baseball Initiative, which celebrates and honors the history of Black baseball.

The script is simple on paper and powerful in the booth.
It invites you in with a few clear ideas: this is a story for our time and for all time. It’s history to discover, culture to explore, and memories that connect generations. My job was to keep the read grounded and familiar—like a voice you’d hear on a summer night at the ballpark—warm, steady, and proud without getting grandiose.
We leaned into the rhythm of the words. Short lines. Clean beats. Space for the images to breathe: sandlots and stadium lights, scorecards and scuffed leather, legends on plaques and little kids chasing fly balls.

And threaded through it all, the contributions of Black players, teams, and communities—barnstorming tours, Negro Leagues greatness, and the long arc toward inclusion.
The Black Baseball Initiative gives those stories the spotlight they deserve, and the tone needed to honor that was respectful, hopeful, and very human.

This piece isn’t about stats; it’s about connection. The way a game becomes a language between generations. The way a museum visit turns into a shared memory. “Our stories to tell. Your memories to share.”
That line sets the compass, and I carried it from the first word to the final note.

If you’re building a museum film, brand anthem, or short that needs heart without the hard sell, I bring a documentary-style read that feels close and true.
Direction-friendly sessions, clean broadcast audio, and quick turnarounds.

Let’s make your next story sound like it matters….because it does.
