Kaiser Permanente Explainer Narration Voiceover

I really enjoy working on projects that blend heart and purpose, with a sense of connection and this Kaiser Permanente explainer was exactly that.

The story moves through three simple chapters—Past, Present, and Future—and my role was to tie them together with a voice that feels welcoming, steady, and quietly inspiring.

From physicians and health leaders to members and community partners, the goal was simple: sound human, warm, and genuinely hopeful.
We started by honoring Kaiser Permanente’s roots.
Since 1945, innovation has been part of their DNA, and the script celebrates that legacy without getting stuck in the past.

My approach was to keep the tone grounded—confident, while honoring the journey—so the message could do the heavy lifting: better access, better care, better outcomes.
In the Present, I leaned into clarity and connection.
Healthcare can be complex, so the read needed to feel like a guide—calm, conversational, and easy to follow.
We highlighted how care shows up every day for real people and real communities. The phrasing was paced for understanding, with space to let the words land.
For the Future, the tone opens up just a bit—more lift, more hope—without losing authenticity.

The script circles a simple truth: healthy communities support healthy individuals, and healthy individuals strengthen their communities.
That’s the loop Kaiser Permanente invests in, and it was important to let that optimism come through naturally.

This piece needed to speak to a wide audience—physicians and health staff, elected leaders, community partners, and current or future members.
My Approach?
I focused on a “broadly familiar” sound: inclusive, human, and easy to listen to across different backgrounds.
