Alliance Security Commercial

This spot hit me in ‘the feels’.

Alliance Security was one of the first commercials I’ve done where the message really connected on a personal level: home, family, and that deep breath you take when you know everything’s okay. We weren’t selling gadgets—we were talking about peace of mind. That changes how you approach the mic.

“The project came through JAI CG out of Providence, Rhode Island. The owner/producer is an old acquaintance, so right away the vibe was easy and collaborative—the kind of session where you can try a few ideas, laugh a little, and quickly lock in the tone.

It also ended up being the first of many successful collaborations with their team.”

From the start, I knew the read needed to stay human. Not “alarm system voice,” but someone you’d trust—calm, warm, and real. We kept the pace steady, like a conversation at the kitchen table.

The script touched on everyday moments: late-night shifts, kids running through the hall, a door that locks with a tap.
Nothing overdramatic—just relatable, small details that say, “We’ve got you.”

I recorded a few versions to give the some options:

  • Gentle and reassuring for the family moments.
  • A little more confident for the features and benefits.
  • A simple, close-in read for the closing lines—like a quiet promise.
  • We let key phrases breathe—“safe,” “protected,” “home”—and gave the music space to carry the emotion.

What I love about this spot is the intention behind it.

It isn’t fear-based; it’s about feeling comfortable in your own space. Knowing that when you lock up for the night, the house is looking out for you.
That’s the heart of Alliance Security…..and that’s the feeling I wanted to bring to the voice: steady, genuine, and reassuring.
The kind of sound that says, “You’re good. Get some rest.”
