Vote Yes on 6 – Brownfields Ballot Initiative:
This initiative aimed to authorize bonds for environmental and water projects, focusing on revitalizing underused or abandoned properties known as Brownfields.

Reflecting on my journey as a voice actor, one project that stands out is my first political advertisement for the “Vote Yes on 6” ballot measure in Providence, Rhode Island.
The script was a compelling narrative that invited listeners to reimagine the potential of these neglected spaces. It began with a conversational tone, acknowledging the common perception that nothing had changed in areas once bustling with industry.

The imagery of empty buildings and polluted sites was familiar, yet the script challenged this acceptance, posing thought-provoking questions:
Why can’t these places be beautiful?
Why can’t they be spaces where we can grow, work, and live?

As the narrative unfolded, it painted a vision of transformation.
The phrase, “If we build it, they will come,” encapsulated the optimism and potential for change. 

It was a call to action, emphasizing that revitalizing these areas wasn’t just about aesthetics, but about improving our quality of life for current and future generations.

Bringing this script to life was an enriching experience.
It required a balance of authenticity and inspiration, ensuring that each line resonated with the audience.
This project not only honed my skills in delivering nuanced performances, but also deepened my appreciation for the power of voice in driving community engagement and change.

Looking back, this advertisement was more than just a job; it was an opportunity to connect with the community on a profound level, using my voice to advocate for a cause that truly matters.
